The Creative Me

I’m sure all of you would have atleast participated once in this competition, knowingly or unknowingly, a competition where you are asked to write something, and you are judged on how well you have written it. Hmmm, are you able to relate yourself? Think and guess which competition I’m talking about? Are you guessing. . .
Essay Writing? (It’s wrong) . . .
Letter Writing? (It’s wrong) . . .
Communications Paper? (Nice try, but I’m asking you to guess about a competition and not a compulsion :P)
Love Letter? (I like it if you guessed this, but still a wrong guess)
No more guessing, I’m talking about the HandWriting Competition. Did you win anytime? If yes, congrats, but have you improvised on this talent of yours, that your school helped you identify? Well, I did. I always used to come in top three every year in my primary school. I loved writing my name in different styles, and many times, simply copied some designer fonts available in MsWord. Though just a copy, and nothing creative in those early days, people around me loved it. I felt good and kept on with it till I learnt Shadow-Writing. There began the Creativity. Look at this, one of my first creative stuff, and this will always remain my favorite.
Then came Mirror Fonts, those that can be read-sense only in mirrors. I never found that interesting, although many loved that too. More recently, around a month back, this guy named Chetan Seth, my class-mate, showed me an ambigram (a text that is read the same up-side down as well). Wooohoooo . . . That was it. I was all into it. Just about in 15 minutes, the excitement level was down, why!! Coz we found a website that makes your ambigrams in seconds. Nothing left to be creative :(. But Chetan then made it more complicated, he asked me to make an ambigram (I don’t know what this kinda text is called, but I still prefer to call it an ambigram) that read ‘Chetan’, but read ‘Shivani’ when turned upside down. Now that’s challenging! In around 40 minutes, I got it done, see. A lil off-perfect, but I still love it, because it’s my first.
All credits to you Chetan for helping me finally find a talent that gurls really appreciate ;) I’m now up to making ambigrams for me and all my crushes, a long list indeed, which will never end I guess. I will be uploading all the ambigrams that I would make on this blog, some of them might even help you in case your name is Dhruv as well, lol. This talent helped me fulfilled a wish of mine. I myself inked a temporary one on my skin :).
Tattooed
(Read Hukka when turned around)
Do check out my collection of ambigrams I have already made for people who are special to me. Click here for the Ambigrams
Feel free to comment your request or mail me for a specific ambigram you might be willing to have for you and your love, may be for your parents as well. Who knows, I might be in a good mood to make them for ‘free’.
